She was born June 10, 1926 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Wm. Marion Julian and Nellie Keen Julian. They were later divorced. Nellie married Wm. "Bob" Olsen who raised Fairie and her siblings as his own children. Fairie grew up in the Murray, Utah area. She graduated from Granite High School in 1942 at the age of sixteen. She married John E. Clark. They were later divorced.

She then met, fell in love, and married Arch "A.D." Coats on December 5, 1947. He didn't like her given name, so he started calling her "Butch" and that is what she wanted to be known as from then on. Together, they raised three children, Sandy, Susan, and Denny. They were able to enjoy thirty-three years together. They worked hard and eventually formed two businesses, Midwest Construction and Western Realty. That enabled them to work together; he built homes and she sold them. They were both active in the Home Builders Association. Arch served as President of the HBA and Fairie served as President of the HBA Auxiliary. Arch died September 17, 1979.

In December of 1979, Butch met Jean R. Morton, who had recently lost his wife. They began dating and before long, Butch knew that Jean was the man she could spend the rest of her life with. They married on December 27, 1980. Jean added two more daughters to our family, Lynne and Annette.

Butch and Jean shared thirty years of marriage in which they were able to travel the world, golf, and just enjoy their life together. They lived in St. George, Utah for twenty-five years until 2007 when they moved to the West Jordan area to be closer to family.

Jean spent the past few years tenderly caring for Butch as her health began to decline. Butch will always be remembered for her unique humor, her generosity, her love of life and of people, her practical jokes and her knitted dishcloths. She enjoyed spending time with her family and especially with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by husband Arch Coats, son Dennis Coats, her parents, her brother, Bill Olsen, sister, Barbara Lindahl, and a grandson-in-law Mike Carhart. Her survivors include: husband, Jean, daughters, Sandy (Jim) Layton, Susan (Richard) Walter, Lynne Morton, and Annette (Mike-deceased) Carhart; seven grandchildren, Tina (Todd) Jacobsen, James Brandon (Destiny) Layton, Jennifer (Stephen) Hoyle, Colby (Luci) Walter, Leticia (Brent) Morgan, Will Carhart, and Sadie Carhart; twenty great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and brother, Keith (Nancy) Olsen.

Gary was born October 30, 1946 as the only son of Alice (Jerry) Keen and Norman (Pat) Barrett. Gary proudly served an LDS mission to Norway.

He served in the army during the Vietnam Conflict where he grew devoted to his flag and country. He was a true patriot.

Known by all as the "Candy Man", Gary was a successful, hardworking candy broker. Some of his passions were his yard, traveling and scouting, but his true love was for his family. Gary met the love of his life, Diane Palmer, at Evergreen Jr. High type class where they fell in love. They later married in the SL Temple on May 22, 1969.

Gary was a proud, loving, supportive, protective and humorous father to three daughters and one son. He will be greatly missed here on earth, but we know he is renewing friendships with his loved ones in heaven.

Gary is survived by his wonderful wife, Diane; their four children: Jennifer (Michael) Heaps, Kimberlynn (Paul) Sheffield, Matthew Lynn Barrett and Courtney (Mason) Bouck; and nine grandchildren: Abbie, Brooke, Camron, Cassidy, Caden, Brayden, Brinnley, Allyson and Berkley.

Danny received a liver transplant on Father's Day, June 19, 2010, and was able enjoy his life with his family until his kidneys began to fail in December of 2011. Danny fought a valiant fight to regain his health for all of us, but lost that battle at home with his wife and family by his side.

Danny was a racecar driver, Nascar fan, and loved to play golf with his favorite partner, Gwyn.

Danny is survived by his loving wife and his best friend, Gwyn; his sons, Daniel, Jayson, and Shawn; his daughters, April and Amanda; brother, Joe; sisters, Bonnie, Toni (Phil), and Joan; ten grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; father-in-law, John A. He valued those friendships and treasured them dearly.Weston is preceded in death by his mother Jessie Mangum and father Fred Standiford Sr.Sister Carolle Woodward.Weston is survived by his daughter Sheri (Bret) Dennis, Son Wesley Caswell, daughter Jennifer (Dan) Hunt, Lynna (Long Le) Dao. Sister Joyce Ann (Dean) Meyers, Sister Deborah Johnson, Brother Jimmy (Barbara) Pierce. 7 Grandchildren and many Nieces and Nephews.Weston loved his dogs Monica and Baby girl very much. He spent everyday with them. Going to the park and bringing them treats. We joked that he loved his dogs more than people and he said dogs love you unconditionally.Weston was quite the joker and was always making people laugh. He cheered people up by bringing gifts and treats to them often. He had many friends who he visited and helped.He always remembered the one thing about them they liked and he would always bring them a gift. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Weston's daughter Jennifer Hunt (801-432-7275) or to the Burns Funeral Home 895 Fairgrounds Rd. #3400, Elko, NV 89801 (775) 738-5111) in care of Weston Caswell.Weston requested cremation. As a Veteran he will be interred at Camp Williams at 10 am at 17800 S. 1700 W. Bluffdale UT, 84065 on August 14, 2020. Following the burial will be a Celebration of Life for Weston at 1pm at his favorite park, West Valley City park 4552 W. 3500 S. West Valley City UT, 84120. Food and beverage served.

659. Jan LINDAHL was born on 17 Nov 1948 in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA and died on 26 Dec 2020 in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA, aged 72.

• Death: 2020, Salt Lake City, Utah, USA. Jan Lindahl Kunz, a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, teacher and friend, departed this life early in the morning on December 26, 2020 after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. Jan was born in Salt Lake City on November 17, 1948 to Charles James and Barbara C. Lindahl. She lived in Salt Lake City until she was 12, when her family moved to Anaheim, California. She attended Jr. High and High School in Anaheim, graduating from Loarah high School in 1967. She married Phillip K. Williams and they had 4 children. They later divorced when they were living in Dothan, Alabama. It was there, later that she met Kenneth R. Kunz. They were married on June 13, 1992 in the Atlanta Georgia Temple, and were inseparable until her passing. At the age of 35 she continued her education and graduated from Troy State University Dothan, AL with honors. She taught high school math for 9 years in Dothan and then she and Ken moved to Duchesne, UT where she continued to teach math at Duchesne High School. Jan also taught early morning Seminary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints while in Dothan. She loved the Savior and was very active in her church callings, serving as a Relief Society President in Dothan and in Duchesne. Her faith was very important to her and she tried to follow Christ's teachings throughout her life.
Jan was preceded in death by her parents, brother, sister, and son Todd. She is survived by her husband Ken and her children Janell and Peter Jager, Amelia and Tim Bullock, Ronald and Mandi Williams, Randal and Whitney Williams, her sisters Linda Kloer and Debra Lindahl and 11 grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all.
